"Mary & Yeshua"
oil on canvas by Kyra Maragopoulos

“A lyrical witness to the power of G-d’s love for human beings filling in the voices, emotions and colors of the times. How much more fully can the world know the Divine as Mother, Father, Son and Daughter!”
Rabbi Hava Pell

Dear Deborah,

Thanks you for sending me LoveDance to read. This is a lovely and timely book. I feel it is important that we, as humans, endeavor to get back to the Divine Mother - Mary's story is a parable for all of us - It's time for us to get back in balance. Amazing that even 2000 plus years ago we were swayed or coerced into certain beliefs by politics and male dominated religion - Not too different from the present. This is a perfect time for your book.

As Ever,

Dear Deborah,

Your life and work sound wonderful. The world sure needs whopper qualities of extra loving to everyone. One of the easiest solutions I can think of is to give it all over to women to guide us to a compassionate and generous world. We all hold each other up.

Respect,

Patch Adams M.D.

The author, Deborah Maragopoulos, spent many years honing her skills as a nurse practitioner, but through a personal health crisis with her own child has become an expert in holistic-neuro-immune
endocrinology. She decided to share what she had learned by writing a book about healing. Early in the writing process she began having very vivid dreams and decided that she needed to chronicle the dreams instead. Her dreams turned out to be an incredible love story about Yeshua (Jesus) and Mary
Magdalen.

“Love Dance: Awakening the Divine Daughter” begins when fourteen-year-old Mary Magdalen finds out that she is betrothed to Yeshua, son of Joseph and Mary. Mary is from a very wealthy
family, and Yeshua is not, but the fathers agree on the marriage because Yeshua is next in line to be the Davidic King who reunites Yisreal. Though Yeshua and Mary have many gifts which they use
to heal and do many other great things they are still having a human experience and suffer the trials that come from having a body. She loves Yeshua, but also loves his cousin, Teoma. She resists this love and Yeshua continually tells her that the time is not yet; she will be with Teoma after he is gone. It breaks Mary s heart to think that there will be a time when Yeshua is not there anymore.

As Yeshua and Mary progress in their spiritual lives, the gifts that unfold for them are truly amazing. Mary becomes a healer and teaches women about the gift of conscious conception so they
will not have unwanted pregnancies. She also masters levitation and communication without speaking, to name a few of her gifts. Yeshua studies with many of the great masters and learns
many gifts, but becomes the embodiment of love for all people in this journey. He faces condemnation among his own people as they see his mission as one of a political battle against the
Roman regime.

“Love Dance: Awakening the Divine Daughter” touched me on so many levels as a woman trying to awaken myself and find that perfect life partner, as a spiritual truth seeker and as a history buff. It is a wonderfully written book whose description of Yeshua and Mary has a strong ring of truth to it. I am looking forward to the sequel, “Love Dance: Realization of the Magdalen.”

“LoveDance: Awakening the Divine Daughter” is the first book in the LoveDance series which chronicles the author’s version of Mary Magdalen’s story. It begins with her finding out that she is betrothed to Yeshua, her childhood friend, whom she has always loved. She is surprised that her wealthy parents agreed to an alliance with him because he is just a carpenter’s son. After their union, Yeshua is committed to keeping her at his side as an equal. She helps him to stay grounded and connected.

This is a beautifully told story. It begins with their engagement and takes them through the trials that Yeshua experienced early on in his life. His goal is to unify the tribes of Yisrael. He feels this is his calling. But in so doing, he has to deal with opposing factions. Along the way, the couple also has their own issues in their relationship. They have the births of their children and Mary’s attraction to Yeshua’s best friend and another woman. Yeshua deals with this the best that he can.

Unlike the stories commonly told of Mary Magdalene being a whore, in this story she comes from a respected family and plays a critical role in Yeshua’s life. She carries a tremendous amount of sensuality which seems to draw others to her. Her sensuality and feminine energy unite with Yeshua’s male energy to make them whole as one. Readers with open minds will love this story. Traditional fundamental Christians will probably not be comfortable with it.

“LoveDance” takes the story of Mary Magdalen and Christ to another level. Instead of it seeming like a dryly-written story, it is rich with description that goes beyond the mundane. Everything that the characters are experiencing is described so that the reader can feel it, see it, and smell it. This also works on the spiritual level. Colors of auras are described. Mary and Yeshua are able to leave their bodies to have experiences on purely spiritual levels. Mary also learns about the power of manifesting from thoughts. Being that Christ had so many special gifts, it seems to me like this might be more like how his life really was. Read “LoveDance” and decide for yourself.
