"This is a lovely and timely book. I feel it is important that we as humans endeavor to get back to the Divine Mother. Mary's story is a parable for all of us. It's time for us to get back into balance. Amazing that even 2000 plus years ago we were swayed or coerced into certain beliefs by politics and male dominated religion. Not too different from the present. This is a perfect time for your book." Kathryn Ross Elliot, actress The Graduate, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Stepford Wives

“A lyrical witness to the power of G-d’s love for human beings filling in the voices, emotions and colors of the times. How much more fully can the world know the Divine as Mother, Father, Son and Daughter!” Rabbi Hava Pell

“Mary’s story mirrors the timeless grace of consciousness awakening.”      Aurora Winter, author of From Heartbreak to Happiness

“The Universe is singing loud with Joy as Deborah takes the world to a new level of compassion and love.  This book is powerful, riveting, a love story of biblical proportions.  This is long overdue.  The Divine Daughter unveiled as an essential partner to the Divine Son.  Mary is the passionate embodiment of wisdom.”            Joan Marie Whelan , co-author of Power and Soul

"Every great soul understands the depth of true union—both worldly and divine. LoveDance helps illumine the doorway of the heart...for all those willing to step through it. And, moreover, it shows the path of love for what it is—an extraordinary, enlightening adventure!" Raymond Prohs, author of Mystic Living

Excerpt from Chapter 22

Shifting Illusions

Sheikan follows closely on my right, encouraging me to mount him. I hug the great horse, already overburdened with T’shuraw’s gifts of embroidered garments for the children and lovely tapestries, which I shall give Martha to adorn the walls of her new home in Bethany. His soft nicker warms my heart, enticing me with images of racing across the desert to an oasis. Foreheads pressing together, our breath falls into rhythm, Sheikan speaks,  we are as one, let us run through the valley of dreams.

Yeshua catches up to us. “My love, why don’t you ride for a while? We can redistribute Sheikan’s packs onto the donkeys.”

Shall we unburden my heavy heart as well? “I have never loved anyone as I do you, Yeshua. But the more I discover, the more connected I feel, my love expands to encompass all. Lost in my passion, overwhelmed by my sensuality, there is less differentiation between that which I love and myself. Upon Sheikan, I am connected to All That Is, just like when we make love.”

Caressing my face, Yeshua whispers, “You search for boundaries so that you might not expand beyond what you believe yourself to be. That is your judgment. That you are finite, mortal, limited. You are not. You are eternal, your love is boundless. Someday we shall release one another from our earthly covenant.” With a tender kiss, I melt into his embrace.

After repacking the donkeys, Teoma whispers an apology and lifts me upon Sheikan’s back. Unbridled and bare, Sheikan stretches low to gallop across the sandy hills. The wind whisks by as our breath matches one another until there is one spirit, rucha, residing within us—horse, rider, earth. In the austere beauty of the desert, dotted by the minute potential of life, where the golden sand touches the clear blue sky, the hayye of the Great Mother pulsates. Like a pregnant woman, the translucent golden hayye encases a rich green flicker of living potential.

Circling back to our companions, Teoma’s mare nickers in welcome, yet we slip from the illusion of the desert of Judaea into the reality of living potential. The oasis Sheikan projected greets us with lush fertility. Rich green vegetation of enormous proportions surrounds a living spring whose moisture purifies the air passing through our nostrils. Birds adorned in rainbow feathers sing cheerfully, as strange furry creatures scamper underfoot. As far as the eye can see, the damp forest drips with life, chattering monkeys and vibrant snakes hanging from the fruit-laden branches. We have entered the womb of the Great Ima, for beneath the veil of sand exists this vibrant infant ripe for birth.
